I am an award-winning director, screenwriter, advertising creative director, short story writer and novelist whose work has been called “Chilling, absolutely terrific” by James Patterson.
As a screenwriter, my film, Forgetting the Girl, was awarded the audience prize at the 2012 Soho Film Festival and was an official selection of other festivals around the world.
A bestselling author of psychological suspense thrillers, I've published two novels — Raveling and Los Angeles, both from Little Brown — in North America and internationally. Raveling received an prestigious Edgar Award nomination for best first novel and was optioned by Warner Brothers.
My short stories have been widely published and have received numerous literary honors, including a Pushcart Prize and inclusion in the Best American Mystery Stories.
I have also worked as a creative director at major global advertising agencies, including BBDO, Publicis, and Saatchi & Saatchi. My campaigns for Pepsi, GE, Visa, Citibank, Cheerios, Duracell, Walmart, Yoplait, and other well-known brands have garnered many awards, including Cannes Lions, One Show Pencils, Effies, Clios, and just about every other form of industry recognition.
I am available as a freelance writer, creative director, filmmaker — or all three.
